EcoOlives Piloting Training Materials

Germany: Successful Pilot Testing of EcoOlives with MARKOS OLIVE and MONDOBIO

We are pleased to announce the successful pilot testing of EcoOlives with MARKOS OLIVE and MONDOBIO. EcoOlives is a project within the Erasmus programme dedicated to olive and olive oil producers and retailers. This milestone was achieved with the invaluable support of MarkosÖl and Mondobio. During the pilot phase, both companies highlighted various approaches and target audiences, enabling us to tailor the course to meet the diverse needs of the industry effectively. A significant focus was placed on Module 4, which covers the marketing and selling of organic olive oil. MARKOS OLIVE and MONDOBIO provided detailed feedback, ensuring that the module addresses the latest market trends and strategies. This collaborative effort was essential in testing the course under practical conditions, identifying its strengths and areas for improvement. The professional feedback from MarkosÖl and Mondobio has ensured that the EcoOlives course is comprehensive, and ready.

Bulgaria: Since there is no olives and olive oil production in Bulgaria, AVA is not taking part in the Piloting sessions with farmers. However, we have requested to add value to the Piloting phase while testing the functionalities of the e-learning platform with IT experts and trainers. Brief summary of the received feedbacks: “The platform is well organised and easy to navigate. Its use is quite intuitive and user-friendly. The materials are well presented and easy to access. The structure is well designed and clear. The video clips are working well. Only on some pages there is a difference in the font size that should be corrected if it is not intentional. Once the platform is finalised and the User self-registration process is launched, it is recommended the user password on the “Log in to EcoOlives” screen has the option of hidden/shown password – visible/invisible icon, thus password spelling to be easily checked by the user.”

Stay tuned and join us in promoting a sustainable future for the olive oil industry.
